Where should you stay?

In case you don't know, the Grand Canyon is more than an hour of drive towards the north of Flagstaff. Although you have a lot of places to stay over there, you should be ready for a lot of fun.

If you want to stay somewhere other than the Grand Canyon, know that you can stay in the lodging available over there. Aside from this, there are a lot of lodges in Tuayan, AZ.


Visitors Center

You may want to get started at the Visitors Center. You should have a word with a Park Ranger who will help you with creating a plan. They are the people who can give you the best advice.

So, don't forget to talk to a good Park Ranger if you want to make it easier for you to visit the place.


Go for the Shuttle Busses

You can get a shuttle bus to go to different parts of the South Rim. In fact, most areas can only be accessed if you get on a shuttle bus. The drivers have a lot of knowledge and they can give you the information you need.


Take water bottles and other stuff

You may want to bring your own snacks, lunches and water bottles. Aside from this, there are some cafeteria-type restaurants, snack shacks and cafes in the park where you can buy your desired drinks or foods.

However, you may find it better to sit somewhere along the rim and enjoy your own picnic lunch. This can be tons of fun and most people do it. You can't enjoy that type of views every day. You can refill your water bottles at many filling stations on the way.


Park Ranger Programs

You may also want to benefit from the park Ranger Programs. In fact, you will have a lot of amazing talks as well as programs on your visit. This may include nature walks, hikes, campfire programs, story time and a much more. All in all, if you consider the Park Ranger Programs, you will find it a lot easier to get the information you need and have a lot of fun.
